New rule on early break of a short corner?

Just Curious is S.A the only team playing the new rule, where if a player breaks early from a short corner that player is sent to the half way line? so the end result is you got 3 players defending excl the goalkeeper

I believe this was being trialled during the world cup, probably with a view to bringing it in, in the future. As with the green card 2 minute sinbins.

yeah the rule is being trailled but is other countries also trying it, like schools ?

I think in EHL they have this rule as well, only when player is sent to half way line another player can take his place. To me that is a better rule than not having the player replaced, that could lead to weird and possibly dangerous situations.
